EDUCATION is at the core of IDP's efforts. It facilitates the transformation of the youth into useful, productive members of society and paves the way towards progress. Filipino families regard education as a beacon of hope and a priceless legacy bequeathed to children. Sadly, not all is given the chance, with the marginalized sector being the most affected due to economic issues. The foundation helps Filipino families realize this dream through the giving-out of scholarship grants. Full scholarships are extended to the truly deserving ones to include not only tuition fee, school uniform, miscellaneous expenses, but board and lodging as well. As part of its education efforts, IDP foundation provides an atmosphere conducive to learning through construction of school buildings and playground while methods of teaching students are through various training and seminars.

In realizing our goals for our Education Program, we have been working with a number of organizations that likewise see the vision we have, where educational growth of the youth is concerned:

KIDS Foundation

National Bookstore

Rotary Club of Makati

PANGKAMA

Kalinga-Apayao State College

STS Batch 1985

LGU-Tanudan

Pangol Professional Association

The provision of learning materials is but a tip of the whole education program of the Foundation. More meaningful contribution is likewise made through the training programs designed for teachers in both the formal and non-formal learning areas. All of these are meant to help in upgrading

the literacy level in the rural areas.

In addition to these, the Foundation also responds to the more immediate

need for matriculation and other school fees - through its Scholarship

Program that awards slots to deserving students who are hard-up in

meeting their financial needs where schooling is concerned. The

Foundation views them as future helpers - when they shall be

gainfully employed - in extending help to the less

fortunate in the province.

Job placement therefore is included in the

whole process, since the Foundation believes

that the provision of scholarship is made even

more meaningful when the graduates are

further assisted in looking for jobs.
