Livelihood projects

Livelihood gives dignity and self-esteem to people in their journey towards self-sufficiency and emancipation from poverty. these are activities that people engage in for sustenance and income so that it is an important component of any project.

The IDP Foundation believes in empowering communities to improve their economic condition, transforming its members into productive citizens in general and responsible livelihood managers in particular. In close coordination with concerned local governments units and community members, IDP assists in the implementation of livelihood projects identified by stakeholders themselves. The foundation ensures that its

projects and programs fit

into the local government

overall plan for the

targeted area.

Coffee production is one enterprise that rural folks engage in. The Foundation recognizes the viability and profitability of this commodity - hence the Foundation's commitment to helping rural dwellers, especially women, in prioritizing coffee as the crop to maintain in the sloping hills of Tabuk City and other parts of Kalinga.
